Demographics: A combination of Asian families from Ohio, young adults, business and corporate professionals, students, children, performers, visitors to Ohio and those with and/or interested in Indian heritage and culture
Funding: Booth rental to vendors, corporate sponsorship, souvenir advertisements, and entrance fees

 
 
Event Growth
 

Attendance at India Festival has grown exponentially each year.
The festival has come to be known as one of the premier events of its kind in the in United States.
The Festival has generated publicity and recognition and has made Columbus, Ohio a destination spot for many weekend travelers.
This is a wonderful opportunity for you or your organization to present itself to the Asian Indian community in Ohio.
From all indications, this year's India Festival promises to be the biggest and the best ever.
The venue, Veterans Memorial Hall in downtown Columbus, will be able to accommodate exhibitors and festival goers with ease.

 
 
Facts and Figures
 

Expected attendance: 25,000 people
The India Festival website in its second year extracted around 50,000 hits in the two weeks prior to the festival.
300 vendor booths selling and displaying gourmet Indian cuisine, fashion garments, henna, handicrafts, artifacts, books, music cassettes and CD's, videos and DVD's, horoscopes and
astrologers, state and federal agencies, travel agencies, businesses and many others.
Free Health Fair with physicians and medical professionals performing a variety of tests to monitor

Celebrations will start on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. and will go non-stop until 10:00 p.m.!
